www.birgelenvets.org is managed by the Chairman and Committee of the Birgelen Veterans Association on behalf of the Birgelen Veterans Association (referred to as 'We' below). In entering our site you as a user ('You') are accepting our terms and conditions.

www.birgelenvets.org is maintained for members personal use and viewing. The access and use of www.birgelenvets.org featuring these terms and conditions constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive or scandalous material, or any material that constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, likely to give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violates any law, or which reflects badly upon the Association.

Information collected by us is used for the benefit of Association Members to improve the content of www.birgelenvets.org to customise the content and/or layout of www.birgelenvets.org and is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes. Association members may advertise their own sites at the discretion of the Webmaster.

Website rules
Please avoid:
1) Insulting, threatening or provoking language.
2) Inciting hatred based on race, religion, gender, nationality, sexuality, or other personal characteristic.
3) Breaking the law
4) Impersonating a member or falsely claiming to represent a person or organisation. Please do not abuse our enrollment procedure.
5) Posting in a language other than English. We cannot provide translations of comments posted in any language other than English.
6) Invading people's privacy.
7)Posting obscene or derogatory comments in the Guest Book.

Please do not post private addresses or phone numbers, including your own, before
discussing with the webmaster.You may post email addresses so long as you make it clear to whom they belong.

Indemnification
You agree that you grant www.birgelenvets.org, royalty-free and irrevocable explicit permission to download, print, reproduce and to display on the website any information, text, images or material that you have passed to the Webmaster or any member of the BVA Committee for such purposes.
The Association is not responsible for any loss or damage to such material which may occur in transit.

Data protection
Under Data Protection law, www.birgelenvets.org as a veterans association, is classed as a ‘not-for-profit’ organisations and is exempt from notification.
