I was born and adopted in April 1967 and I believe from the social services reports that my birth father was in the Royal Signals stationed at Catterick.
The only details I have from the report is that his name is Roy Wilson, he was 24 years old, with fair hair and approx 5ft 8" tall. He must have been stationed at Catterick in 1966 but was posted elsewhere when my mother was pregnant.
I know there were a lot of Wilsons stationed at Catterick at this time but I can't imagine there were many Roy Wilsons. How can I go about finding this guy. I have tried everything for the last 11 years, from the Social Services to posting details on the internet search sites but without any success.
If anyone has any information on how I can contact Roy Wilson please could you get in touch.

we have established an RAF Museum in the old St.Peters Church on the former RAF Laarbruch Airbase. Now Civil Airport WEEZE-Düsseldorf.

so we bust it open and I found a P file with course reports in and a posting order from 9 Regt to 14 Regt dated 1992 I would like to pass this on if possible because if I hand it in to my Ch Ckl it will find it way to file 13 give me a bell if any one has any int. |
